Job Description

Responsible for the homologation of all applicable policies, standards, and regulations related to Intel Security hardware products. Prepare necessary documentation/applications for FCC, Industry Canada, European Union, South American, Asian and other regulatory bodies as needed. Support the development and maintenance of the internal policies related to the application, implementation, enforcement and audit of all policies, standards and regulations. Work with external agencies and government regulatory authorities to ensure continuing compliance of Intel Security products in the respective markets where the products will be sold. Plan and ensure the execution of homologation test and approval projects for Intel Security hardware products. Prepare, review and submit type regulatory approval documents and drawings to applicable regulatory bodies. Advise the Product Development teams on current and future legislative matters that may affect the approvals in relationship to all respective target markets. Support the Product Development Teams to ensure robust and consistent application of regulatory guidelines into new designs. Lead the Product Development teams to resolve regulatory design issues. Regularly report to stakeholder's non-conforming regulatory issues, corrective action plans and timeframe for closure. Work flexibly in a highly cross-functional team environment involving designers, engineers as well as manufacturing and product development teams.



5+ years experience in regulatory compliance engineering or closely related fields. An ability to work to a very high level of accuracy and detail. Exceptional leadership and clear sense of direction. Excellent negotiation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong rapport with design and test engineers, external agencies and government authority boards. Exceptional integrity and a strong sense of ethics. Exceptional persistence and endurance to overcome significant challenges. Excellent problem solving ability in cross-functional and multi-cultural environment able to define problems, collect relevant data, extract meaning from data, and draw valid conclusions. Exceptional analytical skills with regards to logistics analysis, data manipulation, and the ability to create information from data. Ability to effectively communicate timelines and project progress with both internal and external management teams.
