Professional Services Program ManagerMcAfee Professional Services is seeking a Program Manager to assist with management of Education Services technical training curriculum and Solution Services consulting offers. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Product Engineering, Product Support, Professional Services Consultants and other subject matter experts to initiate, monitor, control and execute plans for the development of highly technical professional services offerings.Our security education courses help security professionals around the world successfully plan, deploy, upgrade and operate McAfee security solutions while gaining the critical skills to identify threats and mitigate risk. Our Solution Services consulting offers help security professionals plan, design, implement, operate, assess, and upgrade their McAfee security solutions or migrate from competitor's solutions.What you will do...Research McAfee security products, releases, and security industry practices to provide input to course design and solution offeringsConduct a needs assessment, develop project plans, estimate level of effort, and provide accurate risk assessments for assigned projectsDevelop business requirements and achieves stakeholder consensus Manage all aspects of assigned projects from inception to completionManages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.Meet deadlines and reprioritize as needed to complete on time delivery Uses judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.Takes initiative to achieve value-added results, within scope of responsibilityIncorporate feedback from instructors, students, consultants and other stakeholders to track and improve education and solution services offersPrepares for course and solution reviews to ensure quality Effectively applies established practices and enforces project standards.Contributes to the improvement of professional services processes and proceduresEnsures deliverables are complete, current, and published appropriately.Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.Anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts.
Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 4+ years equivalent work experience 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager.Ability to communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written formExcellent attention to detailAbility to work cross-functionally and maintain and regularly update multiple project schedulesProven project and time management skills in an environment where you may be contributing to several projects simultaneouslyAdditional Qualifications:You should have at least 4 years' experience in one or more of the following:Intermediate knowledge of MS Project or similar tool.Preferred Qualifications:Experience preferably in the technology sector PMP or PRINCE2 CertificationMCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP or related technical certifications preferredCISSP, SSCP, CISA, CISM or related security certifications preferredExperience with McAfee security products, McAfee Certified Product Specialists preferred
