Job Description

The McAfee Marketing Manager, Middle East is responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the McAfee selling teams, utilizing both a direct expense budget and co-ordinating MDF investment in the region through channel partners. The Markting Manager acts as the primary liaison between marketing and inside, partner and field sales teams as well as central demand functions such as the corporate and campaign marketing teams. 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics across all channels of the marketing mix, appropriate to the market opportunity, target segment and desired ROMI. Management of vendor contracts and relationships is also required.

As an expert in their region, the Marketing Manager, Middle East will leverage Global programs and assets from others and align to their region - ensuring all activities contribute to the business and marketing goals.


·Know the market segment and opportunity analysis for priority McAfee products in the Middle East, primary focus the Enterprise segment

·Build detailed marketing plan using a repeatable, audience-centric method, using planning tools to support those efforts based upon local segmentation and relative targeting exercise

·Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales

·Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates

·Understand target customers and the campaigns targeting customers, the responses and follow up taking place by both sales and other key stakeholders (e.g. channel)

·Stakeholder management and building internal brand marketing

·Interface with partners to provide enablement needs, and work with product/solution marketing to develop tools, programs in a box, training and content

·Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs

·Proactively engage with the direct and indirect sales and business development teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities

·Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including (as required) event venues and services, digital marketing agencies, direct mail providers, SEO experts, designers, copywriters and list brokers

·Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling

·Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs

·Develop and deliver presentation materials in selected events – both internal to McAfee and external

·MDF budget, metrics and operations management

·Understand how to navigate and leverage internal platforms and tools

  • Bachelor Degree in marketing or business, or comparable education/experience


  • Five or more years in B2B marketing
  • Knowledge of the variety of IT buyer personas
  • Prior experience in cybersecurity industry is an advantage.
  • Proven experience of marketing in/to Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Turkey are essential
  • Three or more years of field marketing /channel marketing experience
  • Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales; actual sales experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate track record of success in all key areas of responsibility
  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
  • Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
