Job Description

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for research of vulnerabilities in software, firmware and devices, and modern exploits and exploitation techniques. Developing proof-of-concept attacks, analysis of emerging threats and research of effective mitigation and security technologies. Development of security testing tools as well as presenting research results at conferences.

Responsibilities will also include threat assessment, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, architecture and design security reviews and design of security components to ensure security of products, technologies and systems. You may also be responsible for development and delivery of security training and classes.

Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art security principles, theories, attacks. May participate in development or intellectual property. Require thorough knowledge of security practices, procedures and capabilities in order to perform non-repetitive, analytical work.


Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years of corresponding experience
• Motivation and passion for cyber security, an interest in “breaking things” to improve the state of security
• Proficiency in C/C++, JavaScript, Python/Ruby, or other relevant languages
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis, fuzzing and use of vulnerability tools
• Extensive understanding of Windows and Linux operating system fundamentals, including kernel, drivers, memory management, threading, and virtualization
• Ability to work in both team and individual settings
• Interest in public speaking, technical writing and publications
• Experience auditing software, hardware, firmware or network protocols for vulnerabilities; track record of vulnerability discovery and/or exploitation Reverse engineering experience and working knowledge of relevant tools (IDA Pro, WinDbg, etc…)
• Assembly language experience preferred
