To ensure an effective service is provided by the HR Services team to the business; ensuring employees have access to accurate and timely data, systems and information to enable self service, manual queries and work requests are responded to professionally and within predefined time frames.

Specific Responsibilities/Functions

  • Increase and promote the use of  self-service by assisting in the development and update to the HR knowledge database – delivering a consistent message, that is accurate, appropriate and relevant
  • Utilizing WorkDay system to ensure HR  transaction processing accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain process documentation to align with business process needs, statutory and regulatory changes
  • Build relationships across the business (both inside and outside of the HR team) ensuring stakeholders are kept informed and where applicable, consulted, about process change requests  that impact on their area
  • To process transactions accurately and efficiently for specific areas; driving “first time resolution” and minimizing the amount of rework by either the employee or HR Services team
  • Support colleagues in the delivery of  goals and objectives Answering general questions on benefits, new employee on-boarding, HR programs/policy and other top of mind employee questions
  • Assist to ensure team provide quality customer service and accurate information for employee queries
  • Help translating Chinese to English and vice versa


  • 1 + years of WorkDay HR transactional data entry (hire, term, organization changes, compensation changes, - all employee actions
  • Knowledge of general personnel practices and procedures
  • Minimum 1 year solid Human Resources administration experience
  • Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of Workday, SAP, Oracle or any other HR database system
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Ability to demonstrate an organized approach to work situations with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent planning, time management, communication, organization, follow up/follow through and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Professional and customer focused approach including absolute discretion, diplomacy and sensitivity in handling confidential matters and information
  • Experience of working within a service center environment
  • Good time management with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work flexible hours if needed to meet critical deadlines
