Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

This opportunity is focused on supporting and coordinating M&A activities and initiatives related to integration of people and best-practices into McAfee. This individual will also work directly with business teams to align our HR initiatives and programs with their immediate and long term business needs. The HRBP will also support select global programs.   The HRBP actively leads discussions related to planned M&A integration needs, and transfers best practices from merged and acquired companies into McAfee. The HRBP takes the early lead in planning for then orchestrating M&A integration efforts.

Additionally, the HRBP partakes in a variety of strategic HR projects, such as benchmarking assessments, process improvement, talent assessment and succession planning, compliance and risk assessment, business continuity and long-term planning.   At times acts as the project leader spearheading efforts to enable and optimize an organization’s overall performance and impact.  

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Play an active, lead role specific to developing and applying a best-practices playbook focused on M&A due diligence and people and programs integration
• Acts as the initial point of the contact for people integrating into McAfee through M&A activity
• Manages complex and high-impact global and/or cross-functional HR projects and programs
• Builds strong business relationship with internal clients and our investors
• Actively partners across the HR community in support of business unit initiatives such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Org. Design and Learning and Development to influence and achieve business results.   
• Challenges the organizational structure of the internal client and proposes changes

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required with a preference for an advanced degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 8+ years HR Business partner role or in a HR Functional role, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience specifically focused on developing and applying best practices for M&A due diligence and people and programs integration
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills, including influencing at all levels and the ability to encourage evolutionary change
  • Demonstrated Project Management and Change Management Skills
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Ability to thrive and execute with minimal structure.  Navigate and operate within a fast-pace and at times ambiguous environment.
