Job Description

Specific Responsibilities/Functions

  • Recruit references and manage relationships
  • Create and maintain in-depth customer profiles and contacts
  • Manage reference request fulfillment; track reference activity and outcomes
  • Fulfill customer reference requirements for analyst surveys (Gartner MQs and Forrester Waves)
  • Offer nominations for Customer Advisory Boards; actively participate in key meetings
  • Develop assets to showcase customer success including videos and case studies
  • Increase customer reference program adoption and visibility
    • Understand and articulate the value of the program to a variety of internal and external stakeholder audiences


Qualifications

As part of the Sales Concierge Team within Marketing Operations, the Customer Reference Manager will be responsible for recruiting and managing high-touch reference relationships across the global customer base. The Customer Reference Manager will work closely with Sales, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, Professional Services, and Support to solicit nominations. The Customer Reference Manager will convert nominations into active program participants that will support a wide spectrum of public and private reference activities servicing the needs of sales, marketing, product management, and PR/Analyst Relations.
