The Key Deal Alignment role is a significant senior position within the Quote Operations Organization reporting into the Quoting Operations Manager.  This group of individuals will monitor the quotes queue and be responsible for quote approval as well as focusing on relationship building with the Sales team within their assigned region/business segment.  Assessment of quotes in order to maximize upfront revenue while ensuring that quotes comply with the key company guidelines of Revenue, Technical Support, Licensing and Pricing are primary elements of this role.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>- Strategically support a specific region/business segment of the Sales Organization in the review and approval of quotes, ensuring they are structured effectively to be approved in line with corporate policies and guidelines.<br/>- Interact closely with the Key Deal Manager and Revenue Accounting team to support key quarter close activities, such as contract reviews, and reporting requirements while maximizing revenue.<br/>- Proactively work with the Sales team in the supported region to resolve any queries or issues in a timely manner, providing alternative courses of action where possible when submitted quotes cannot be progressed.  This includes the negotiation of discount rates to ensure the revenue position of the company is protected.<br/>- Act as the Liaison with different departments of the organization including Legal, Finance, Operations, Program Management, Sales and Technical Support to coordinate quote approvals as required.<br/>- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of McAfee&#8217;s products, processes and promotions in order to provide a best-in-class level of support to Sales.<br/>- Verify quote to ensure required criteria is met with regard to discounts, margins, contracts, promotions, COG&#8217;s, VSOE and products.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>- Relevant work experience in a multi-national Order Management, Finance/Accounting or Channel role would be an advantage as would some exposure to dealing with Sales professionals.<br/>- College degree with a focus in Accounting would be preferred.
