Position:Senior Product Manager

Location:Bangalore,Karnataka

McAfee is looking for a passionate and creative Product Manager to help lead the direction of the best SaaS Endpoint Security solution for the SMB market. MacAfee SaaS Endpoint Protection is a product that allows customers to defend against viruses, spyware, web threats, and hacker attacks but more importantly lowers costs and streamlines security management.

As Product Manager, you will guide a team that is charged with a product line contribution as a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ones. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

Key Responsibilities

· Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

· Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.

- You have experience launching and growing SaaS solutions to SMB users.

- You have amazing passion and aptitude for problem solving and details, paired with the judgment and discipline to not get mired in the weeds. In the face of complexity that would crush mere mortals, you execute and deliver products that delight customers beyond belief.

- You are willing to go the extra mile to understand customers and their unique habits. You enjoy talking to customers on the phone and visiting them regularly. You’re able to quickly size up a situation, prioritize it, and articulate why.

- You are a strong and decisive leader. You can quickly weigh cost and benefit and make decisions that your team and senior leaders can get behind. You are not afraid to say no to something so that you can say yes to something more important.

- Your passion and enthusiasm should be visible.

- You thrive on the challenge of working with and influencing smart, experienced and opinionated developers.

Qualifications

· B.E/B.Tech,ME/MTech with 9-12 yrs of exp in the IT industry.

· 3+ years of software marketing/product management experience, ideally with a SaaS-based application.

· This position is Global and will require travel to customer and non-customer sites (25%).
