About the Role and Responsibilities
Reports to: Software Development Manager
Overview of the Team/Function
Here in Israel we have 3 R&D Centers of excellence specializing in creating the next generation of enterprise security. One of them is the McAfee Host Data Loss Prevention (DLP) group, located in Tel Aviv. The team responsible for building a new age of the DLP endpoint product to address todays and future challenges in DLP area, as well as maintaining the existing versions and supporting customer needs. Working environment is dynamic and very challenging, both in product and technology areas
The successful candidate will be a team player capable of working on the development of complex software systems through their full lifecycle.
Basic Function and Scope of the Position
If you join our team, you will get the opportunity to work on a whole cycle of new DLP endpoint features from design stage through to release, as well as improving existing features and/or functionality according to requirements. You will work closely with Product Management function to understand customer’s requirements and market needs, initiate product features or improvements as well as investigating new technologies and/or environments to expand functionality of the DLP product suite.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience in C++ development
- Strong knowledge of C++ development in a Windows environment, and Win32 SDK , with good experience in multithreading, high performance and IPC concepts
- Experience in working as part as a modern development team and with solid experience of basic tools and practices such as source control, bug tracking, task tracking, unit testing, build and delivery.
- Experience in advanced debugging/reversing – an advantage
- Experience in development on MAC – an advantage
- Bachelor's Degree from known University and/or graduate from one of the IDF courses (MAMRAM or Intelligence courses)
