Interact with the McAfee Enterprise customers via phone/email and provide the highest level of urgency to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Provide remote support on our product and resolve product related issues during POC & post-deployment phase, through research and troubleshooting.
Debugging system level problems in a multi-vendor, multi-protocol network environment with high- level technical expertise on complex issues.
Work closely with Support Escalation engineers to resolve critical issues
Evaluate the scope for timely escalation and ensure that critical problems are addressed as per priority.
Document all technical issues, analysis and communication with the customer and ensure crystal-clear documentation.
Knowledge of McAfee Security products would be an advantage (ePolicy Orchestrator, Data Protection)
3 or more years’ experience in a Technical Support Center managing customers from regions such as NA, EMEA or APAC
Exposure to severity-based models in enterprise business segment would be preferable
Must communicate technical information. Knowledge and troubleshooting on latest technologies of Windows OS (desktops and server), MAC, Linux, SQL Database (Including Queries), VMware.
Understand Windows troubleshooting tools and able to interpret multiple Windows logs and dumps
Good knowledge of computer hardware (Types of Drives, RAID), windows Boot Process, files involved during windows boot process.
Have working experience on Active directory, Domain account creation, Windows Server and understanding of Server Roles, Domain Nomenclature, User rights administration Good knowledge of IIS, Active Sync Technology Advantage if have knowledge on Esx and cloud technologies
Sense of technical issues of McAfee's enterprise customers and handle high severity situations single handedly
Create progress reports on cases owned and flexible to extend. Industry certifications like MCSE, any Security Certification is preferred
Should be flexible to work in rotational shift including night shift.
