The McAfee Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) is responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the McAfee selling teams in Latin America for Multicountry (Nola and Sola) and Mexico. The RMM acts as the primary liaison between marketing and inside, partner and field sales teams as well as central demand functions such as the corporate and campaign marketing teams.

The RMM is also responsible for the development of marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics across all channels of the marketing mix. It holds complete responsibility for all marketing activity in the geography, ie channel marketing, demand generation, customer marketing and programs, marketing communications and marketing operations.

Job Description

The McAfee Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the McAfee selling teams in Latin America for Multi-country (Nola and Sola) and Mexico. The RMM acts as the primary liaison between marketing and inside, partner and field sales teams as well as central demand functions such as the corporate and campaign marketing teams.


The RMM is also responsible for the development of marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics across all channels of the marketing mix. It holds complete responsibility for all marketing activity in the geography, i.e. channel marketing, demand generation, customer marketing and programs, marketing communications and marketing operations. Will be based in Bogota, Colombia managing different Latin American regions

About the Role

As the Regional Marketing Manager, you will be a key member to the Multi-country and Mexico leadership team and build a strong interconnect and relationship with the other key business functions. You will be developing and executing relevant programs focused on market segments, strategic customers, and prospects that create strong McAfee brand awareness and demand for McAfee’s offerings. A key focus will be on implementing these programs with measurable results in high quality leads, marketing sourced and touched pipeline, and effective distribution and execution of leads through the McAfee sales organization and McAfee’s channel partners/distribution.

  • Work with corporate and local business units, develop and localize marketing strategies, leverage both internal and external resources for best practice.

  • Work with various channels to develop and drive channel promotion program, develop and drive programs with LTAM Partners, Distribution, Government & Education, and Industry Communities.  

  • Work with key channel partners and Distribution to develop and execute joint marketing programs in LTAM.

  • Lead overall implementation of marketing programs including lead generation activities, eMarketing campaigns, reference programs, customer & partner marketing etc.  Organize and implement marketing events, including exhibitions, seminars, tradeshows and product launches.

  • Develop a high-level marketing plan for Multi-country and Mexico in close alignment with country and LTAM stakeholders.

  • Keep LTAM management up to date on product and marketing issues, and marketing initiatives. 

  • Support the Regional marketing Director in championing a strategic, integrated, solutions-based marketing operation for Multi-country and Mexico.

  • Review monthly metrics reports and determine corrective action.  Share insights amongst management team.

About You

  • Educational background includes interests in marketing, communication, business or related

  • Your career history includes at least five years in B2B marketing and three years in field marketing or channel marketing experience

  • Passionate about learning IT Buyers businesses to identify opportunities for McAfee

  • Articulate a market-specific value proposition and tailor it to fit a variety of program requirements

  • Demand creation performance measurement

  • Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales; actual sales experience is highly desirable

  • Proficient with a range of B2B buyers using a wide variety of offers (e.g. white papers, case studies, webcasts) and delivery mechanisms (email, telephone, direct mail)

  • Your career history includes inbound marketing strategy / execution experience and the ability to align tactical plans with those strategies

  • Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget

  • Be able to target segmentation analysis, budgeting and building business cases for new customer acquisition

  • B2B sales cycle and how to identify opportunities to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration

  • Prior experience in cybersecurity industry is an advantage.

  • Ability to demonstrate track record of success in all key areas of responsibility

  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements

  • Passionate about planning/project management with leadership and initiative to drive business objectives

  • Agency management and ability to understand decision impact on other areas of the business

  • Strong oral/written communications skills

  • Strong consultative marketing approach in order to effectively engage with sales and channel partner community

  • Understands how to use social media in an overall demand creation approach

  • Ability to direct content building required for complex demand creation

  • Can learn quickly and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to commute to Bogota, Colombia location
