Role Overview:

We are looking for a Consumer Retail Sales Executive in DACH region responsible for the DACH Retail business. The target is to effectively manage and achieve targeted sales and subscriber growth across the defined customer base, in line with business objectives and overall company guidelines.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for quota of the DACH consumer retail business, reporting into Director Retail Sales EMEA
  • Analyzes, develops, and implements sales strategy across all markets in DACH to attain company strategic objectives
  • Responsible for customer acquisition, client retention, and market expansion for the company, overseeing field sales teams across DACH to meet or exceed goals
  • Drives revenue growth for new and renewing business
  • Develops strategic plan, quarterly revenue forecast, territory design, and resource planning
  • Proactively manages and work with local field team talent and pipeline, including attracting, identifying, developing, rewarding, managing and coaching
  • Designs and implements required sales organization structure to achieve optimal results
  • Ensures individual contributors are focused on customers and markets to maximize revenue, billing and business opportunities
  • Leads accounts in the territory in finding new opportunities and see ways to improve processes to increase revenue, profitability, and customer experience
  • Contribute to best practices across EMEA Sales Theatre
  • Works effectively across other functional teams such as Legal, Pre-Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Support and Finance

About You:

  • Deep understanding of DACH markets
  • 10+ years of experience selling software and services and ‘building new markets or businesses’, especially related to the Retail and Reseller Channel segment
  • Strong engagement and relationships at CxO level in DACH with all retailer in DACH
  • Vast experience developing, implementing and managing strategic plans & growth strategies
  • Track record of success in opening new markets, building a pipeline, closing business, and mentoring a field sales team in the DACH region
  • Successful experience negotiating large contracts, with ability to work in a matrix environment and across multiple internal partners (Legal, Pre-Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Support, Finance, and Executive Leadership Team) to drive desired business results
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve, and apply critical thinking to inform recommendations and decision-making
  • Must be skilled in working with cross-functional virtual teams in remote locations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Frequent travel is required
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
