At McAfee, we're changing the way we deliver products to our customers and partners by putting a great experience at the forefront of everything we do. As a User Researcher, you’ll play a central part in making our product experiences more intuitive, engaging and delightful.

This is a remote role based out of Canada. We are only considering candidates based in Canada and are not offering relocation at this time.
In the next year, you can expect to...
  • Work with a close-knit team that includes interaction and content designers to bring a new product to market 

  • Help your workstream understand the target user’s success criteria 

  • Inform design decisions through formative and summative research 

  • Connect the dots between your work and other customer insights such as market research and product analytics. 

  • Translate what you’re learning into business implications 


About you:

  • Experience in the customer software research space

  • Knowledgeable about UX principles and theories

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build rapport, establish credibility 

  • Comfortable in a fast-moving organization. 

  • Applied experience with a breadth of qualitative and quantitative UX research methods including semi-structured interviews, contextual field visits, card sorting, surveys and usability studies (live and remote) 

  • Skillful at interview facilitation 

  • Able to connect research findings to business outcomes
