Role Overview:

As a Senior Analyst within McAfee's exciting, fast-paced Service Provider (SP) program, you will participate in the development and management of complex, strategic projects intended to grow the program and help automate many of its processes. This will include: helping to identify new opportunities, collaborating with peers to qualify opportunities, and driving the technical close process on all relevant solutions. In this role, you’ll act as lead for the SP tool management and ordering solution architect.  This requires collaboration across various McAfee departments, McAfee partners and vendors.  You will also play an integral role in optimizing business operations processes and reporting to better serve internal stakeholders. This position needs significant industry knowledge and credibility within the competitive landscape and must have the ability and confidence to influence decisions.

About the role:

  • Articulate the overall McAfee Information Security value proposition, vision and strategy to customers and partners (especially the SP program)
  • Map SP strategies to technical requirements and then to workable McAfee solution architectures
  • Architect the solution through to implementation planning
  • Collaboratively develop and articulate an end-to-end solution design, inclusive of consulting, support and education
  • Provide focused leadership across technology area to drive initiatives
  • Translate customer business requirements into integrated technical solutions
  • Perform essential sizing, tuning and configuration, and recommend solution best practices
  • Articulate and document how McAfee solutions provide increased business value and improved technical capability
  • Assist in technically closing complex and competitive opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skills, and credibility
  • Become recognized as a thought leader and source of advice for other functions
  • Train, mentor and collaborate with other team members
  • Proactively engage and communicate with the Business Units, Marketing and Sales
  • Identify revenue-impacting support escalations and pro-actively engage with required parties to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution
  • Create ordering solution work plans, drive work plan activities, report project status
  • Create SOWs for large improvements and actively partner with vendor
  • Create and manage JIRA tickets related to iAsset and pair with iAsset sprints
  • Become SME for the iAsset tool & advise on iAsset reporting capabiities and potential opportunities 
  • Identify operational gaps and enhancements to MSP ops
  • Outline and prioritize key projects for MSP Ops to close gaps and create enhancements
  • Collaborate within MSP ops and other MSP stakeholders to drive completion of those projects
  • Manage ongoing projects to completion and effectively communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales and MSP partners to fix deployment or order issues
  • Advise MSP stakeholders on program architecture and best practices

About you:

  • You’ve had prior experience & success with technical systems and sales engineering experience.  Preferably within the security, security consulting and/or data protection industry
  • Specific experience in assessing customers' technical maturity against their defined goals and matching those assessments to solutions which meet or exceed client expectations
  • Presentation-ready knowledge of several McAfee or competitor solutions and expertise in products making up one or more solutions
  • Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to relate to a wide range of technical staff and managers in customer environments
  • Broad product and solution knowledge of market trends in the Security industry and business
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent written/verbal communicator
