Role Overview:

The Customer Success Group is currently sourcing a Senior Program Manager position that will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing a large-scale global support technology solution transformation.   This role will be responsible for program managing all aspects related to the track, including technology, data migration, process and change management.    This role is a key leadership position to ensure successful business transformation outcomes.  This includes managing through all phases of a multiyear project including requirements development, solution design, testing, implementation, and go-live.  The individual must have a successful track record in like large-scale technology solution implementations.

About the Role:

  • Manages program components, including critical risk items and mitigation plans with stakeholders, including senior leadership, focused on resolving key issues
  • Manages program costs and works with internal stakeholders and finance to manage capital and operating expense plans
  • Collaborates with cross-functional project leads (IT, Change Management, vendor project managers, McAfee support delivery and operations) to plan all aspects of the transformation program from workshops, sprint reviews, team size, resources requirements, implementation, go live and warranty support.
  • Identify significant milestones and establish critical path items within the program plans while monitoring and reporting progress toward milestones on a daily or weekly basis as required
  • Serves as lead on project facilitating daily and weekly project review meetings with external vendors and McAfee cross-functional organizations
  • Develops Program-related materials including, Program Scope Statement, Program Schedule, Meeting Agendas, Status Reports, Risk Mitigation/Contingency Plans

About You: 

  • We seek a seasoned program leader whose background and passion aligns well to product development organizations and has focused on strategically and tactically developing and managing concurrent, high-impact programs
  • Experience with large-scale, global system implementations, preferably cloud solutions and/or experience with call center/contact center implementations
  • Possessing first-rate organizational skills, you’ll be focused on developing, managing and/or delivering high priority, diverse projects on time and of the highest quality
    • Problem framing – identify and promote structures/frameworks/models that help people better understand the problem and trade-offs at hand
    • Project management - successfully shepherd complex projects; is clearly organized, retains a strategic vision while sweating the details, and can comfortably influence all levels of stake holders and customers
    • Operating in ambiguity - can hold multiple, conflicting “truths” at once, and not get perturbed by lack of clear direction
  • Your proven interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills will enable you to collaborate and be influential at all levels
