Role Overview:

McAfee is looking for a data-driven, customer-focused, and energetic Principal Product Manager. You will report into the leader of Desktop Product Management and be part of the Consumer team responsible for developing best-in-class consumer experiences that can reach millions of users. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to build a customer-centric product experience that will integrate features from across the McAfee consumer portfolio, focusing on user flow optimization driving higher installation, activation, engagement, and monetization.

You will partner with Design, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to accelerate market traction for our next-generation products that redefines how we protect consumers. Being at the center of technology, the business, and the end user, your job will be to prioritize and develop a product roadmap and drive the team towards building a meaningful experience that delights customers and solves their problems in ways the customer understands.

You will have a deep understanding of what it takes to drive product ideas through execution by working closely with different stakeholders in an Agile framework. If you have a passion to define new experiences then this is the role for you.

About the Role:

  • Develop product proposals that will drive customer and business value, based on a deep understanding of our customers, business, products, competition, and technology trends.
  • Work independently and with research teams to uncover customer insights, and industry and competitive trends, that will inform product experience decisions and recommendations.
  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand the user journey and how it can be improved.
  • Take a data-driven approach in defining success metrics, writing and prioritizing requirements, providing guidance, and communicating plans, progress and success.
  • Align with peers to coordinate roadmaps and ensure a seamless customer experience across McAfee applications and touchpoints.
  • Continuously test and learn product experiences, to increase discovery of the product, drive contextual feature usage, reduce friction and deliver value at key moments of truth.
  • Collaborate with the performance marketing teams to create channel and go-to-market strategies, executing on projects to drive growth and engagement.

About You: 

  • You will have 10+ years of experience in product management
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage large, complex initiatives independently, and drive results through influence, persuasion and relationships
  • You will have experience building delightful consumer product experiences
  • Ability to translate research data and insights into clear frameworks and actionable recommendations
  • Ability and comfort to co-create and work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders and teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt style and content to suit all stakeholders
  • Strong decision-making skills when balancing short and long-term objectives
  • You will be strategically aware, customer-centered, and business savvy
  • You will be collaborative, recognize the value of bringing people along
  • You will be adaptable and calm under pressure
  • You will have an entrepreneurial mindset, bias for action and a passion for delivering great customer experiences
