Role Overview:

We are looking for a kick butt Event manager to oversee, organize and execute events in north America that will make an impact to our prospects and customers. You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints while delivering memorable experiences to our audience.

An event manager is, above all, somebody who cares about delighting her/his constituencies and create events that achieve business results. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh, out of the box ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

We want somebody who is a leader and a doer, thinks out of the box, cares, and is an excellent team player.

About the Role:

  • Driving compelling, engaging and memorable experiences for prospects and customers to influence retention and pipeline
  • Plan and execute both regional events and trade shows
  • Planning events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
  • Preparing budgets and ensuring adherence
  • Tracking event results and impact on funnel
  • Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Interact with executive and sales personnel to gather requirements and share results
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Be in charge of hiring temporary personnel
  • Coordinate all operations
  • Lead promotional activities for the event
  • Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.)
  • Approve all aspects before the day of the event
  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
  • Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports

About You: 

  • Proven experience as event manager
  • Excellent team player
  • Skilled in project management
  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
  • Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • Customer-service orientation
  • A team player with leadership skills
  • Experience in cloud security or security industry heavily desired
  • BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred
