Strategic Account Manager Sales - SEA is responsible for managing and developing the South East Asia territory. The successful applicant will be charged with building customer and internal relationships to sell strategic solutions into MISP (Mobile, Internet Service Provider) accounts. He/she will work with and lead internal resources to exceed sales quota. Key attributes to delivering results include the ability to articulate solution/business value, understanding how to influence complex organization dynamics, and a resolve to win.
The responsibilities and functions include:
- Create new sales opportunities in assigned territory
- Close sales opportunities in the territory
- Expand sales pipeline/funnel by cross selling and up-selling additional solutions
- Construct and execute an effective territory development plan
- Establish, develop and build relationships with key Service Providers
- Update opportunities in SFDC, manage pipeline, and accurately forecast revenue
- Coordinate sales activities with others within the sales organisation and management
- Enthusiastically and professionally promote McAfee and our industry leading security solutions to Service Providers
- 10+ years of proven and successful experience selling complex products and/or high tech solutions to Tier 1 Services Providers in the region.
- Strong background in IT based selling new business Tier 1 Service Providers (hunter)
- Extensive experience in opening up large Tier1 accounts and building/maintaining strong multi-level relationships at these accounts.
- Fluent in English (additional languages and dialects Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay would be preferred).
- Must have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to communicate complex concepts and technical benefits in business terms to the executive level
- Strong solution value based selling skills, including extensive experience calling on key executives and decision makers in Tier 1 Service Providers in the local geography
- A strong new business mentality to be successful in a highly competitive business
- Self-motivated, independent, and highly driven to succeed
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Travel is required.
